Lynn has been reading and writing science fiction and fantasy stories since she became obsessed with Star Trek: The Next Generation at age ten. She loves adventure stories that feature the best of humanity in dire circumstances, while leaving plenty of gray area for messy feelings and complex characters.

She lives in Maryland with her husband and cat, Josie.
